About Trophy Guide (English)

Updated 2010.03/06
Hello there~Here's レイ(Rei)'s Blog, Cyberia.
Although there are only a few trophy guides (Uncharted and Dead Space) now, レイ will keep working on it, write trophy guides for all platinum レイ get. It's necessary to set some rules and make some comment before all getting started.

First, レイ would like to talk about how these guides are made. For each game, after getting platinum, レイ will write the Trophy guide (It takes a looong time~). Usually, the guides combine レイ's own experience and references (mainly from PS3Trophies.org). And that's the reason why レイ wrote this article in English. レイ would like to thank all the reference providers, and try to list all of the references. If you find your content used without showing the references, or there is any content belongs to you that you don't want it to be sited, please twinkle レイ and it will be corrected at the very first time. Also, guides here are free to use for noncommercial purpose, but you should mark the original source (Cyberia). Do not just donig copy and paste!

Second, as you can find, articles here including Trophy guides are mostly in Chinese (and some with a little Japanese). To appreciate the help from PS3Trophies.org, レイ is planing to write some Trophy guides for Japanese games. Japanese games are often released very early in Asia region (like FFXIII, Mobile Suit Gundam Battlefield Record U.C.0081...), let レイ have a chance to get the platinum before released in other regions. Indeed, It's clear that レイ is not a native English writer, if find any misspelling or grammar problem, please let レイ know OAQ

In the end, レイ is going to talk about the components of a Trophy guide.
The first part on the top would be some announcements, for example:
Note:Some of the contant of Trophy Guide comes from PS3Trophies.org
Having any questions or finding any mistake (typo or any others…)
please give me a tinkle
The second part is the information of the game, names and links.
There will be murmurings about the game afterwards XD
And then the overview.
Trophy Difficulty tells how difficult to get platinum, like:
Piece of Cake (BIO5), Easy (Dead Space and Uncharted), Normal, Hard (Demon's Souls), Cursed (Ninja Gaiden ∑ 2?)... For difficulty above Normal, the main constraint will be commented, like:
Sleepy (Extreme time consuming type, Mobile Suit Gundam Battlefield Record U.C.0081), Cross your finger (luck needed type), Dark Lords (Highly technique required type, Ninja Gaiden ∑ 2)
Trophy Score is based on how the trophy fit with gameplay, at most 5. If the trophy and the playthrough are harmonic, which means you don't have to do too many extra works that have nothing to do with "enjoy the game", it will get 4 (Uncharted series and Dead Space). Most likely, if Trophy Difficulty is Hard or above with commented "Sleepy", it will result in poor score. 5 is a special score for the game with perfect Trophy design, that there are some great interaction between trophies and game itself (haven't find any).
Trophy Art is simply refers to the art design of the icons of trophies,at most 5. Again, 5 is the special score.
Minimum Playthroughs, the minimum number of times beating the whole game to get platinum.
Tough Trophies indicates those trophies which are technically hard to get.
Missable Trophies indicates trophies that are easily to be neglected by players without reading the guide or knowing the list of trophies.
A Summery about the main direction of the guide.
Finally, the guide itself... Note that the order of trophies is not the same with how is displayed on PS3, it would be reordered and group by the characteristic of trophy.
Ok~that's how it works here~
It is レイ(Rei) blogging, and thank you all.
